Sky watchers should remain alert for auroras after nightfall on Saturday --even if you happen to live someplace where auroras are rare. Last night's Northern Lights, for example, extended as far south in the United States as Texas, Arizona, and southern California. Visit SpaceWeather.com for more information about the ongoing storm and to view a growing photo gallery of auroras from around the world. Received on Sat 31 Mar 2001 07:26:30 PM PST |
