I was never interested in this facet of meteoritics until I began gathering my notes for a "Meteorite" feature about the trip to Bolivia Blaine and I just completed. I don't have the computer capability to quantify the data to calculate this and was hoping that one of the m-list's resident geniuses (you know who you are!) could solve this puzzle. The (still waiting classification) stone we found in Bolivia was picked up at "only" 3,749m/12,301'. Kevin Kichinka Received on Thu 26 Jul 2001 06:18:17 PM PDT |
