As best as I can estimate, this was an earthgrazer on a very shallow trajectory with an approximate heading of 330 degrees (i.e. 30 degrees west of north). If anything survived reentry, it would have landed near the Pennsylvania/New York border (favoring the NY side), perhaps in the vicinity of Whitesville or Allentown, NY in southern Allegany County. I have not seen any reports from observers in Olean, Alfred or Dansville, NY -- these would really help in narrowing down a possible retardation location. Good luck, New York hunters.
