Hi All,

Have been pouring over all the fireball reports on FIDAC, and
plotting the probably bolide trajectory through Pennsylvania.
As best as I can estimate, this was an earthgrazer on a very
shallow trajectory with an approximate heading of 330 degrees
(i.e. 30 degrees west of north). If anything survived
reentry, it would have landed near the Pennsylvania/New York
border (favoring the NY side), perhaps in the vicinity of
Whitesville or Allentown, NY in southern Allegany County. I
have not seen any reports from observers in Olean, Alfred or
Dansville, NY -- these would really help in narrowing down a
possible retardation location.

Good luck, New York hunters. Michael Casper has probably
already hit the road... --Rob
