About that fraud of a meteorite from Riverside, if you look at the main
picture there are two old blades of grass and dirt stuck in the holes.
Which the idiot didn't even bother to remove before passing it off as a
new fall on ebay. It is (I believe) a chunk of porous basalt that was
sitting on his lawn beside the broken down camaro his brother in law
swapped for his trailer, with no wheels, propped up by more basalt
cobbles. Just a guess?

Riverside county is also the leading crystal meth producer in the US
which might also account for an honest dillusion on the part of the
seller.

Or the neighbors have been watching the recent Nova special on catapult
manufacture?
