Hi Steve,

One other compelling bit of evidence supporting an aerial burst in the
Austalasian event is the classic butterfly shape of the microtektite
strewn field (see map and article in MAPS Vol. 35, Nov. 2000, pp.
1151-1155). It is the same pattern that the fallen trees assumed in the
Tunguska event and I believe that found to occur during low altitude
nuclear tests as well.
