It has a Shock Stage of 6 and was found to contain the rare mineral Ringwoodite. = This mineral is only formed in the most shocked of meteorites. There are less the 10 = known meteorites with this rare mineral present. ROOSEVELT COUNTY 102, L5 Chondrite, Roosevelt County, New Mexico, Found 1988. This = meteorite surfaced during the Portales Valley Meteorite Rush days! A farmer brought this one in = for identification and it got bought up. At the time it weighed 8,345 grams. OUM ROKBA H5 Chondrite, Shock Stage 2 and a Weathering Grade of 2. This Meteorite was found 12 km West of the village of Oum Rokba, Morocco. They were found by a Berber Native turned meteorite hunter. He found a small strewn field where nearly 80 kilos of this = meteorite was found. Over 200 individual stones were found in an area reported to be 1km long = and a 1/2 km wide. Some of the stones were as large as 8 kilos. "Rokba" has = something to do with knees or old woman's knees. Also, I was told that there is a = medicinal plant called "Rokba" that is given to camels with weak knees!
