H5 Chondrite, Dawson County, Texas, USA. First Found in 1992,
Recognized in 2000. One stone was found by a farmer in the spring of =
1992. It weighed
12,700 grams. This meteorite was classified by Alan Rubin of UCLA as an =
H5 Chondrite,
with a Shock Stage of 2 and a Weathering Grade of 2. What I offer here =
is the MAIN=20
MASS. It is a beauty. Metal rich and showy on the cut face. Thumb =
printed on the
outer side. This is about half the original mass. It weighs 6332 grams. =
 This piece
needs a new home and a serious collector.

20. JUANCHENG,=20
H5 Chondrite, Shandong Province, China. FELL February, 15 1997 at
2323 hrs. The total known weight of this meteorite fall is about 100 =
kg. What I have to offer
here is without doubt the best looking large Juancheng available. This =
98 % fusion crusted
stone weighs 1006 grams and is fresh black in appearance. This stone =
was reported to
have been picked up the day it fell. It remains in excellent condition =
and as fresh as the
day it fell. It is without doubt a museum piece. For the serious =
collector it is an
opportunity that only comes around every few years.

21. HESSLE,=20
H5 Chondrite, Uppsala, Sweden. FELL, January 1, 1869 at 1230 hrs.
After detonations, a shower of stones, weighing from about 1.8kg to a =
few grams each,
fell over an area of about 3 x 9 miles, some fell upon ice a few inches =
thick without
breaking it, and powdery , carbonaceous matter was found in association =
with the stones.
Total known weight is 18 kg. This specimen here is a rare opportunity =
for some lucky
collector to add a very rare meteorite fall to their collection. This =
piece weighs 40.3
grams and is a beautiful BLACK crusted fragment. I would estimate that =
it has about
40% fusion crust. Large Hessle specimens only come out of the museums =
and this=20
piece is no exception. This specimen comes with the ASU card and the =
stone has
the ASU collection number 263.A on it. =20

...Hessle...........................40.3 gram crusted fresh =
fragment.................................$1250.00

22. NORTHWEST AFRICA 098 (NWA 98), =20
L6 Chondrite, Eastern Morocco, Found in
the year 2000. One stone weighing 5600 grams was found by Berber Nomads =
in Eastern
Morocco. This meteorite has been classified by UCLA as an L6 Chondrite =
with a Shock
Stage of 4 and a Weathering Grade of 3. This is a really nice specimen =
and it
weighs 604 grams with black fusion crust and thumbprinting.
