Hey Mike,

How are you? I hope you and Melodye are doing well and having fun with all
the money you're making these days. As both Michael and I told you on the
phone recently, you worked awfully hard and deserve every penny of it.

Actually, coins are a lot of fun. People really like them and it's funny .
. . an awful lot of folks (over 100,000 serious collectors) stay up late
nights playing with their coins . . . just like all the meteorite
afficianados!!! We have had a lot of fun at some recent auctions, made some
large sales and, when we want to go to a show, we can carry everything in
just three cases!! Quite frankly, a lot more fun than dragging across
country in a truck loaded with several thousand pounds of material around!

Enough of the chit-chat. I was actually the one who commented to Michael
about the statement you made. I don't know if you know that I spent almost
15 years in the stock brokerage business, most of that time on a regional
level. Sales were not my interest, but administration was. Anyway, I
learned an awful lot about what you can and cannot say to folks if you are a
salesperson. Of course, the stock brokerage industry is very tightly
regulated, which some other industries are not, but a statement guaranteeing
or even implying a guarantee of any kind that an commodity is going to
increase in value is generally something that should set off a red flag in
front of educated and informed buyers.

Now, please be assured that even if you would sell 1 gram of your pretty new
lunar meteorite to Michael, I would really fuss at him for wanting to buy
it. We still have plenty of material that we are selling steadily and I
will be so glad when the showroom is empty . . . I want to turn it into a
gym!!! Just last month that triceratops lumbered out of here, on the way to
a science center to make little kids happy!

The door is always open if you ever find yourself in Ithaca, Mike. Mexican
food in the restaurants here isn't anything to compare to what you have in
Tucson, but the meanest enchiladas in town come from my kitchen.

Say hi to Mel for me.

Cathi
