Actually, that specimen that you just mentioned was the type specimen for
the Ureilites and it was an entire village who had an unusual snack.

Two comments,

McSween wrote in his book that a Russian also ate a newly fallen meteorite
(get'm
while their hot). A caution that these contain nickel which is TOXIC to
those who
would care to nibble a little on their specimens.
