Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone!
I don't feel forty or bothered by it (he lies!), but maybe after a couple of
warm ones tonight I'll start to get all melancholy and sad as I see my youth
slipping away from me ;-)

I also share my birthday with Marvin and Kitty Killgore's son Elijah who's
exactly half my age today, and by co-incidence my namesake and fellow Listee
Grant Elliott adds another year onto his age tomorrow. Happy B-day to all.

For some reason, I don't receive all of the List postings these days and
posting a message doesn't always work, so if this doesn't make it to the List
can someone please forward it and pass on my thanks?
