Dear Michael and listmembers,

A listmember wrote to me off-list yesterday and offered a reasonable
explaination as to the origins of this automail. It seems that when an
employee has moved to a new position, the employer often adds such an
automail to the employee's address so that clents will know how to reach
him. This individual is/was a subscriber to this list, and if he did
not unsubscribe before moving on, those of us posting messages to the
list will receive this automail until the employer discards the
employee's old e-mail address.
