Untouched Meteorites!

Hello list,

Once again I'd like to thank all of you who wrote me privately to share
in the enthusiasm of my first hunt.

I was elated with every find. I felt honored knowing that I was the
first person to be able to touch such an ancient object. After finding a
few, it came to me that I should reserve the thrill for someone else. I
then changed my collection methods. I wouldn't touch them. I would
harvest them with tongs and put them in a baggie. Of course, I continued
with my standard procedure of taking an in situ photo and recording the
date of find and GPS coordinates.
