Hi List,
Good discussion for a change.
It is pretty well determined that Richard Norton's book is the bible on
meteorites, meteors etc. and his definition is as good an any.
However, if this group feels the need to give a "rock from space" a name
during its dark flight, ie. after meteor flame out and meteorite landing,
then how about POST-METEOR as a terminology for this phase of flight.
Just my thoughts.
