Hello All,
Last month I purchased some Ghubara from a Russian dealer. He had it listed
as "Ghubara" or "Ghubarah" from Oman.
I have spoken with several people that have bought some from a list ad and
they say it is an L 5.
I want to make sure as to what it is.
My well worn, trusty 1966 Cat. of Meteorites lists it as a "Black
Olivine-bronzite chondrite", thus making it an H. This is consistent with
what it appears to be. I have never seen an L with this much visible metal
against a black matrix.
Does anyone have information that classes it as an L?
Thanks,
John Sinclair
