Hi Art,

Harvey Nininger found meteorites all over the United States but preferred the
area in Kansas (where he taught college) and later out west though he would go
where ever he thought there was a good lead or better yet several. At one time he
had found close to half of the new meteorites ever found due to his program of
educating communities and then coming back later to see what his efforts had
achieve. It will work anywhere if you are persistent. Also Harvey was very gifted
at talking to people and getting them excited in pursuing the hunt. To find such
a person all you need to do is go talk to Robert Haag.
