Sikhote-Alin(???) Meteorite, eBay #210807812

It has occurred to me that rather than
selling it for him on eBay below his cost, the highest service you could
provide to your consignor would be to assist him to recover the full
$5,000. that he paid for the purported Sikhote-Alin meteorite. In that
regard, the attached meteorite discussion group messages should prove to
be helpful. I believe that you will find that people in the meteorite
community can be counted on to help stamp out the occasional fraud in
their hobby - some even forming a Meteorite Sheriff's Posse with which I
"ride". In view of the heavy weight that must be given to the expert
opinions expressed in the attached messages, and the guarantees of the
eBay Power Seller Program in which you participate, wouldn't you agree
that a cancellation of the auction for the subject item is in order ?

I've seen many many hundreds of Canyon Diablo's and literally tons of
Odessas. My gut level feeling is that this is a Canyon Diablo and another
example of how people are ripped off. $5000 for 9 lbs. (even at the
exchange rate!)
What do the rest of you think? Anyone else buy from that rock shop???????
