AMS 1999 Leonids Updates page
Hello all,
A preliminary, but enjoyable collection of narrative accounts of the 1999
Leonids, especially the peak day, has been compiled at:
http://www.amsmeteors.org/leo99update.html
My thanks to all of you who have shared with us accounts of your
observations over the last few days -- regardless of whether you were one
of the lucky ones to enjoy the spectacle, stood frustrated looking up at un
penetrable clouds, or contributed lonely observations from some part of the
globe not blessed with all of the excitement. All of these are part of the
story.
Best regards,
Jim
