Hi gang,
Just been flicking thru the new (April) issue of FRONTIERS magazine, and on
p21 there's an **awesome** photo of a spectacular fireball seen over the Czech
Republic on January 21st. The photo's approx 2.5" x 2.5" and the fireball is
over an inch across, magnitude WOW!! (Around -12 or more I'd say looking at
it). Long star trails, so it was obviously a long exposure, and the fireball
appears to have streaked almost directly away from the pole...
... anyway, it says in the caption that "Experts believe (They never say
*which* experts though, do they?) that fragments from the blast probably fell
to the ground near the Czech-Poland border"... has anyone heard of anything
recovered from the area?
Just wondering...
