Re: NEMESIS
One good book about Nemesis is "The Nemesis Affair: A Story of the Death of
the Dinosaurs and the Ways of Science" by David Raup, published in 1986.
It's out-of-print, but available 'used' at Advanced Book Exchange on-line.
Now on a personal note, I don't think Nemesis is too "whacky" a theory (any
more than the theory of periodic mass extinctions, caused by
extraterrestrial objects/impacts, is "whacky"). A brown dwarf seems the
more likely object if it exists at all.
