Hi Allan,
I find nothing on "Olefinite" in mineral species glossaries but Olefin
is in my dictionary
"Olefin, noun, an alkene have the general formula CnH2n.
Obsolete term - Olefine; oil forming. From the Latin oleum (oil)."
