Gene & others,
I have NEVER understood why any dealer would want the price of
meteorites to go UP. I make EXACTLY the same percentage whether the
material is .10cents/g, $1/g, $10/g or $100/g - so, to me, I would
rather a customer get 100g for their $100 than 1g for their $100. As
long as my buying price is lower,, what does it matter to me if the
selling price is lower? It is actually very much to my ADVANTAGE - as I
can then buy MORE for my own collection! Very few dealers are NOT
collectors, so, I have never understood why other collectors have this
idea that dealers WANT prices to go up!
Best wishes, Michael
