G.Brent Dalrymple's "The Age of the Earth" (Stanford U.P. 1991, ISBN
0-8047-1569-6) is an excellent introduction to radiometric dating. Much of the
evidence he presents in his book to determine the Earth's age is based on the
ages of meteorites.
