Not that my contributions REMOTELY rival those of previous departees, but I
feel compelled to check-out temporarily as well.

It's healthy that there is an epidemically allergic reaction to the
inflammatory crap that is again contaminating this list.  I so much wish I
had ignored Arnold's posting...(Darnit)...still taking the bait.  But with
a large part of the soul of the list forced to take a leave, the annoyance
factor is just too high.

With the (I hope only temporary) departure of Frank, Baalke and Blood,
perhaps Arnold will recognize that he should fall on his sword so that the
majority of subscribers have a place where they can enjoy a shared love for
things meteoritic--AND BEYOND.

Personally, I will profoundly miss Baalke's postings.
