Hello List!
I just saw my name mentioned. What did I do now?
I have recently returned from a 19-day, 8,200 mile, 26-state odyssey. I saw
Marlin Cilz in Malta, Montana, met some new and old friends at the Costa
Mesa Show, had a few laughs with the King of Space Rock Bob Haag in Tucson,
and spent a few days with Mom and Dad in south Florida.
Now it's back to business here in lovely Ithaca, New York. I've got:
1. Esquel (7.5+ kg)
2. Cape York (16+ kg)
3. Brenham (12+ kg)
4. Imilac (2+ kg)
5. Sikhote Alin (1/2 etched individual weighing 16+ kg)
6. Sikhote Alin (150+ kg of individuals of all weight ranges [all
regmaglypted and gorgeous])
7. Gibeon (2,000+ kg)
I am looking to liquidate all of the above. I have to raise cash for a new
pallasite that has recently become available.
I have read somewhere on the List some questions on the price of
Noblesville. The price is very high on Noblesville - I have only one slice
remaining. The price is high because it is an unbelievably beautiful
meteorite, it was a witnessed fall, the main mass (apx 460 g) was sold via
telephone auction for over $30 per gram. After all was said and done and a
few slices cut, the value of the material was a $50 per gram cost to the
owner.
Of the three slices that I wound up with, one was sold to a collector whose
father was born in Noblesville, Indiana for $100 per gram. One slice was
traded to ASU and I still have the third . . . and I'm asking $200 per gram.
Regards,
Michael Casper
