Here is the excerpt from the site:

"The Catalogue of Meteorites is the world taxonomic database of
all meteorite falls and finds. The first edition was published by
the British Museum (Natural History) in 1923, and contained
references to approximately 850 meteorites. It is anticipated that
the fifth edition, due to be published some time in 1998, will be
available both as a hardbacked book and on CD-ROM. It will
contain information on around 15000 meteorites, including those
found in Antarctica, Australia and the Sahara desert.

In the electronic version of the Catalogue, each meteorite will
have 7 "pages" of information, covering its find details,
classification, chemistry and distribution in collections. The first
page of information for Zvonkov, the last full entry (to date) in
the Catalogue is given, as an example. "

The example shown on the site is a little small to see clearly, but it
looks like a database format (similar to WinMet). It this is true, there
may be many searchable topics besides the ones available in the 1985
edition, namely alphabetical name listing, classification listing, and
country listing.
