The Dallas Morning News had an article and photograph in today's edition about
the Monohans meteorite. The photo is of Sgt. Reggie Bailey of the Monahans
Police Department holding a "2 pound, 11 ounce" piece of the meteorite. The
article mentions about the other fragment found about "800 feet" from the
pictured piece, where it impacted a road. (Sounds like the piece Mike Casper
describes).
If only it would have dropped closer to Dallas....I'd be outside with a
flashlight right now!
