Hello Joern, hello List Members!

My database METCAT has the following entries:

1) Abajo (H5), 26° 48' N / 105° 25' W / BM London
A crusted individual weighing 319 g and a fragment of 12 g were found
within the strewnfield of the Allende fall, near Cienega de Ceniceros de
Abajo. Reported, olivine Fa18.9, Meteor. Bull., 1984, (62), Meteoritics,
1984, 19, p.49.

2) El Carmen (H6), 26° 52' N / 105° 14' W / BM London 25.03 g
A single, orientated mass weighing 629g was found 2km NW of El Carmen
during a search for meteorites within the Allende strewnfield, olivine
Fa19, Meteor. Bull., 1988, (66), Meteoritics, 1988, 23, p.171.

3) Salaices (H4), 27° 00' N / 105° 15' W / 1203g, Tempe, Arizona State
Univ. 395g, Washington, U.S. Nat. Mus., BM London, 1906g (part slice),
32.7g.

One mass of 3.9 kg was found 6 km SW. of Salaices and within the Allende
strewnfield, about 1.5 km NE. of Rancho Blanco, Meteor. Bull., 1972,
(51), Meteoritics, 1972, 7, p.229. A further mass, 39 fragments
totalling 20.6 kg, was found in 1981 about 7.2 km WSW. of the original
find site, close to Pueblito de Allende.

4) Villa Natamoros (L3.7), 26° 45' N / 105° 24' W / main mass(es) ?

A single mass weighing 156g was found within the strewnfield of the
Allende fall; classification, sub-group 3.7, olivine Fa1-37, 21.4 %
total iron.
R.H. Hewins, P.M. Radomsky, L. Jie et al., Villa Natamoros, an L3.7
chondrite from the Allende strewn field (abs. in Meteoritics, 1988-3,
23, 273).

5) !!! The abstract in Meteoritics 23-3, 1988, pp. 273-274 contains some
interesting information - excerpt:
