Hi all:
	There has been a lot of talk recently about proposed meteorite hunting
in Arizona for the Gold Basin meteorite.
	Can anyone tell me with certainty about the legalities of hunting
meteorites there?  The strewnfield lies on both public and private
land.  Obviously, one would need permission to hunt on private land. 
However, what about the public land?  Since there are weekend gold
prospectors using the area, apparently legally, why would collecting
meteorites on public land be any different?
