NEO Search Funding

Hello all,

A while back some of us were discussing and bemoaning the fact that are
respective governments were moving slowly or not at all in funding
ongoing searches for Near Earth Objects (NEOs). I've just been notified
that The Planetary Society is soliciting contributions for their Gene
Shoemaker NEO Grant Fund. This fund has made contributions in the past
to individuals and organizations that have maintained searches for NEOs.
This is an opportunity for us to put our money where our mouths are.

I will be making a generous contribution to the fund. Is an ongoing NEO
search worth the price of a common meteorite to you? Please consider a
donation. For the dealers and others out there who like to keep topping
each other, here is a way to do it in a positive manner.
