To all,
I am curious as to how much of this material has been sold and how many people
are now in posession of lunar material. Does anyone have an idea for my
curiosity. I understand that a quantity of material has been sold in Japan to
those collectors.
Also what Apollo material that has been studied (what missions) have in common
with the 262 or how many samples return match this meteorite. I realize that
the meteorite would have a shock event to it as does the Martian Meteorites.
Any Apollo reference material might be good.
Also anyone that can direct me to web sites on Dar al Gani 262 and any
information on it would be most appreciated as well as any ideas as to a more
exact location this material could have come from on the moon. Has Nasa any of
this material for study and what findings have they on this new material.
I find it interesting that we now live in an age where private ownership of the
good old moon can be acquire by collectors. This is something that I thought
would only happen in the future when a more massive specimen was found.
