WRONG! The offending parties were GUILTY of acting like (expletive deleted)
idiots. There are consequences to be paid in all areas of life when you
choose not to abide by the normally accepted mores and standards of society,
and they had to pay them. Period.
One of the unfortunate consequences the internet has unleashed is that it
causes otherwise rational mature individuals to degenerate into what we all
had to put up with for the past few days. I'll bet you just about anything
you want (some DaG262 perhaps?), that if you would have put the two (or more)
parties involved in a closed room together, the same thing WOULD NOT have
happened. But, provide the buffer that a keyboard and phone line allow, and
suddenly testosterone levels increase!
PS: Don't model your philosophy of life after the Chinese. Remember, even
today in China: "the nail that sticks up, (sometimes) gets a bullet in the
back of the head".
