Hi Rob,
Yep, going by the 33 year cycle the Leonids are due to "storm" next year, but
there's also a possibility of increased activity this year too, due, I
understand, to some uncertainty about the structure and density of the dust
stream we'll be ploughing through. There's been a lot of alarmist-writing in
the papers about the damage the meteoroids will pose to satellites this coming
Nov.
As for our individual or collective reaction to Prof Roy... well, I think I've
said enough about this, what do others think?

Regards from a Brit who misses Scotland a lot... and will do even more when he
