Your name was mentioned in a LA Times article (June 1, 1998 METRO
section) as having supplied all of the meteorites for last Sunday's
Butterfield & Butterfield Natural History Auction. They only
mentioned, "A 996-pound meteorite sold for $101,500, and shared top
price with a Frisbee-size iron meteorite that looks like a giant corn
flake." (The "corn flake" was a S-A.)
Having missed the auction, I'd be interested in what was the "hammer
price" for the other specimens. Can you supply that info'?
