There is an abstract in Metsoc 98 entitled
"SURFACE CRATERS ON SIKHOTE-ALIN IRONS; IMPACT PRODUCED."
that clearly shows an impact crater on a small individual.
"We interpret these features
as impact craters resulting from high velocity collisions
between meteoritic particles during the latest
stages of atmospheric flight."
