Re: Prices... an outsider's view, with thanks

And 'Bravo' from New Mexico. Stu has described the joy of meteorites.

To finally spot one, from 10 or 20 feet away, your heart leaps, you hold
your breath and approach. It's a meteorite!!! What a thrill - to be the
first person to hold it, to appreciate it's journey. It's been waiting
there for you. :-) (Not very long in the case of Portales, but just as
thrilling, I bet) It takes a while for the feeling to wear off, and I
remember the spot where I found every one.

What else can compare? What's it worth?

Good Hunting!!!
