Meteorites and Creationism...Do they mix?

NOTE: I thought I would resend this in the event anyone missed it due to the
difficulties experienced the last couple of days on the list. -SA

 Hi List,

After reading some of the responses about Noah's Flood being caused by an
impact, I was thinking about some of the following broader questions:

I am aware that there are Creationists (those that believe that an
intellegent being created the solar system, rather than everything evolving
from something else) in virtually every field of science. Specifically there
are also those that believe in the Young Earth Theory (that the Earth was
created about 10,000 years ago, rather than 4.6 Billion years ago.)

These scientists all have evidence that they will submit in their own
respective fields that they claim back up their theories.

I was wondering if there are any acomplished scientists in the field of
meteorites that hold the Young Earth Theory? AND if they have any
meteoritical evidence to back up that theory (or that might disprove the 4.6
Billion Old Earth Theory)?

One reason that I am asking is that I might have a project involving
meteoritical evidence that could help date the Earth, one way or the other! I
don't expect that anyone would be able to get a grant to fund such research,
but for those that might like the challenge, it could be interesting.

Any Creationists that might be afraid to respond on the list, can fell free
to contact me directly.

 Thanks,
 Steve Arnold
