Actually I don't think so.  Read this article at
http://www.trib.com/NEWS/HEAD/ballflames29.html, and notice the one posted in
the Denver Post at http://www.denverpost.com/news/news2045.htm.
There were "two" fireballs seen on the 28th both at about noon MST.
The first one was seen in Breckenridge, CO at noon, heading almost due north.
The witnessed said it "crashed just over the hill"...yeah right. However also
at noon, in WY, a commercial airline pilot said his plane was almost hit by a
fiery object. He felt a shock-wave as it shook his plane. Furthermore he saw
it from above, crash into the hills below, aka the Shirley Mountains, WY.
Nothing has been recovered yet, but if someone could talk to the pilot, there
may be new leads....
