is the rust coming from a flaw in the etching process,or from humidity?
If it caused by humidity you can purchase a product called Sheath, which
is used on firearms to prevent rust, instead of coating the metal it will
actually bond with it,and will not chemically alter the metal. The rust
may also be coming from a flawed step in the etching process, most likely
you are probably not soaking it long enough in alcohol.hope this helps.
