MEZO MADARAS - L3 fell 4 September 1852, Cluj, Romania
In 1965, Dodd described a new mineral found in this meteorite -
the merrihueite : (K,Na)2Fe2(Fe,Mg)3Si12O30 crystallized in a hexagonal
system.
Does anyone know how common is this mineral in meteorites ?
Andrei
