Just an amateurish thought regarding the collection of micrometeorites.
Since snow flakes, as in raindrops, needs nuclei for condensation to occur,
perhaps gathering a rather large quantity of snow (near surface) from a
field, for example, allowing it to melt in a clean vessel, and filtering
water, will result in collection of micrometeorites that were used as
nuclei, or were washed-out with other atmospheric dust. I think snow is less
likely to be contaminated with ground-based impurities given its insolating
properties.
