This is a very nice description of a portion of a Gibeon I have, where it
looks like a piece broke off in flight, and the fusion of the new surface
'preferentially' melted between crystals. Unfortunately, this is a 16 lb.
teardrop shape (very attractive & 4S), and this phenomenon is only on the
broken point of the drop.
